I have not been able to get the x, y, and z Axis to move. checked all the wiring it is correct. I am using Openbuilds Nema 23 motors. Drivers all downloaded and installed. Connects to the program without a problem
yet I get no movement from any of the axises. What am I doing wrong. Any help will be appreaciated.

    Thanks,
    Kevin

Did you remember to load a machine profile from Grbl Settings tab > Select machine from list?

Peter this is a home built machine. What profile should I use? It is a lead screw machine with 2 motors on the y.

Thank you so much for your help!

use the LEAD1010 and get it moving (turn homing off at first), then fine tune the speeds, lengths and homing , and importantly, calibration (use the wizard)

We have a CUSTOM option in the list. But whatever is most similar is also a good starting point

Grbl is mm internally. Thus its settings are all in metric. See Grbl v1.1 Configuration

For daily use your can use Inch mode CAMs, and in CONTROL above the DROs click the Inch mode tab to set the UI up as Inch

Thanks for all the help. I have all 3 axis's working, limit switches, and all I have left is to get the vfd to start the router from the control software.

    Thanks again for the help,

    Kevin
