New to CNC. Learning FreeCAD and SolidWorks. I want to be able to layout/design airplane instrument panels. Material is no deeper than .10 aluminum and simply making through cuts but might like to engrave lettering also. Looking at Workbee 40x60 since some panels are wider that 40".

Any feedback or suggestions would be appreciated. Also, what is advantage of 24V and with converter can it be plugged into 120?

Our machines comes with a 120/230v to 24v PSU because the control system runs on 24v see docs:powercase:start [OpenBuilds Documentation] and docs:blackbox:connect-psu [OpenBuilds Documentation] for details

I would recommend the LEAD1515 as the better option, more rigid, more modular if you need to do changes or modifications or later updates. See Machine Comparison Table
