    Hello,
I am getting a full size CNC machine (4x8) shortly. The machine comes with auto tool changer and a vacuum table. The control software that comes with the machine is Mach 3. I know that it is dated and unsupported but there is lots of infomation on it. I have been using Open Builds CONTROL sofware for several years and am used to it. For my new machine can I use the Open Builds software? Does it support auto tool changers? Can I use the software to control the vacuum table as well?
    Thanks in advance!
    Cheers
    Peter

no, CONTROL feeds gcode to a GRBL based controller via USB
Mach3 cannot do that, it feeds commands to a parallel port, or one of the external USB controllers designed for it. This means your machine is being supplied with Mach3 compatible hardware.

Mach3 is well suited to controlling your vacuum table and tool changer, stick to it.
