Hi, just received today a Blackbox Interface for my Blackbox X4. The instructions mention installing a "TVS Module" in my v2.6 Blackbox, This was missing from my shipment. (other than the interface, I got a small usb dongle and a sticker) . I have put in a support ticket asking for a replacement for the missing part, but can I still use the interface or just pack it away awaiting the shipment of the part? cheers Gary
Are you sure your BlackBox is that old? We stopped including it as its been a couple years since the older versions were around. Either way wait for support to get back to you please
Thanks Peter, The unit is about 4 years old - but hasn't been used for 3 of those years, as it has been in storage. The version 2.6 is printed on the main board....... Cheers Gary
Hi, I also have this issue. Blackbox V2.7. No TVS module included with interface bought through ooznest. I am UK based. How do I source the module? I have messaged ooznest but I am not hopeful as they were unable to provide the correct cable either. Thanks Kai
Shouldn't be needed anymore its only purpose is to protect BlackBox from operator mistakes. You had it so long by now surely all your wiring is proven to be fine? No shorts thats suddenly going to make the boost converter overshoot?
similar story to above really blackbox originally purchased in 2021 but only recently up and running have done a couple of test pieces without issue so far
