hello everyone, my name is alexande. I am in France. I am in the process of assembling a CNC sphinx of 1000x1000mm. I have a problem, the first blackbox received gave me an error after various and varied tests on the end of the races. as a precaution before installing the new one which was sent to me by "ratrig ltd" seller in portugal, I tested all the cables to be sure that none are damaged. no worries everything works. I therefore installed my new blackbox, after a home all, I set to control the speed of the vfd from openbuild control, successful test. I then decide to test my software limit switches to make sure that everything is good before putting the right plate. and the limit switch X shows me 801mm while it is at zero, and the Y shows me approximately -1200000. if I click on set zero of C, it goes to zero, then I click on set zero of Y it goes to zero but the X goes back to 801 and so on in turn without stopping. thinking that the vfd was a problem I unplug it completely and I also unplug the connector from the pin but no change. after turning off openbuilds control and relaunching i again have an error 7, the eeprom is unreadable and then i can't do anything, reset does nothing to flash the eeprom either. would you have a clue to give me before contacting the seller again to replace this blackbox. small precision the end of races are openbuilds, the power supply is a meanwell everything was bought at the same time as the blackbox. I will try to post the videos that I was able to host on youtube to send to the seller if necessary. I apologize in advance if the translation is not ideal. best regards alexandre.
Refer to (particularly section 6.3.6) docs:blackbox:faq-usb-connection-failed [OpenBuilds Documentation]
Hello Peter Van Der Walt, thank you for the answer I will do the procedure again and I will come back to you. Best regards.
Hello Peter, i do the test witout any cable on the blackbox, is the same. No connection...... what other test is it possible to do. I tested all the cables wire by wire, I removed them from the cable chains to make sure that no cables were damaged inside.
Note section 6.3.6 then (notice it says to use the Partstore's contact form to get in contact with the correct team. Not the forum)
