I recently purchased a used CO2 laser cutter and it has the Ruida controller with 5 DM542s external drivers. I'm a huge fan of the Blackbox for it's simplicity. Is there anything the Blackbox can't do that the Ruida can? I'm assuming it would work period, but I would love to switch it out so my 1515 and this laser cutter are both on the same platform. Obviously I would lose the display but I already have a laptop in the shop. Thanks for the input
The proper Laser DSPs are a little faster and better at engraving. I wouldn't swop Its a solid setup. If you had a K40 with the very old coreldraw plugin as the only option a swop made sense
