Hi Everyone, so I have two machines, the workbee and the 1510 acro running a diode laser. We used to use one laptop used only on one at a time (never used to run them at the same time). But now trying to use another laptop to run the acro side by side.

So I have a program just runs perfectly ok with the original laptop, but with the new laptop, it runs 10x the speed even though everything is identical and so won't cut or engrave anything! Have checked the grbl settings against my original laptop and they're exactly the same. For our production needs we really need to get these two machines running at the same time, so any help to get this problem solved is very appreciated!

Have now retired the original computer, that worked perfectly just 5 minutes ago, with the same program, now it's doing the same **** thing! This is ridiculous, their must be a fault with the Black Box as this system has become unusable?????

If we look at the Gcode we can diagnose some things....
what speed are you expecting vs what speed is given in the gcode
what are the settings in the BB? give us a settings backup file. (GRBL settings tab|backup settings)

Hi David, thanks for the reply. We have now solved the issue, it was actually a light burn issue where it defaulted back to using mm/sec instead of mm/min!!!!! So nothing to do with the black box as first thought - took us a while to pin it down, such a silly thing that caused so much trouble!
