Hi folks, has anyone tried running Openbuilds on the LattePanda..? I've installed it fine and it works, albeit a little skewed on the 7" screen. But I cannot seem to get it to connect to the Arduino. The Panda comes with the Arduino Leonardo chipset, so I don't know if this would be a suitable application..? any advise.. thanks Warren
Windows 10 right? Maybe you need the FTDI drivers: Virtual COM Port Drivers In any case, its not supported so you wont get a ton of help figuring it out. Personally, I'd be interested to see if you can get it working though. 7 inch screens do suck. I had one for a short time with RPi. I'm now on a 13.1" in portrait mode. Much better.
The Win10 picks up the onboard arduino fine with its local libraries... If I use an UNO on one of the local usb's, OB picks it up fine too. We're looking at using the LP and OB's for some industrial machines we want to develop, repetitive task machines. like lollipop makers... So I'm hoping to find a way to work around it.
There is no version of GRBL that will run on a Leonardo, you will need and external (USB connected) Arduino Uno or Mega.
