Toolbar on the left :) - hover mouse over buttons to learn more

Also see the Help bar at the bottom of the screen (for example holding CTRL while clicking with Transform does something different than without CTRL. Play with it - best way to learn. Enough tooltips and help bars on screen

I have done that and after I move one item or resize it freezes, I'm on a new fast computer with a high speed connection so I'm sure its not my side lagging

In the same box where you typed the reply, is a "upload a file button" right next to the Post reply button you clicked after typing the reply
Upload the file you were working on

You havent setup any Toolpaths yet:

    upload_2020-12-2_21-36-12.png

For example, here I set up an inside cut of the text, outside cut of rectangle. Just guessing, you know what you wanted to do with it
If it still hangs, you didnt put in sane values into the toolpath configs :)

    Another example:

    Recap:
    1. Obtain CAD drawing (either from another CAD application, file on the internet, parts library inside OpenBuilds CAM, or draw using the basic CAD tools in CAM)
    2. Select relevant entities and add them to toolpaths
    3. Configure appropriate values for the toolpath (experiment, research, google)
    4. Once everything looks how you want it, Generate Gcode
    5. Send it to CONTROL to get it processed:

    See docs:software:overview [OpenBuilds Documentation]

making a very small progress, but can someone check this code and tell me what's going on?
the project is a small ashtray with a pocket in the center, I add the components but when I try to do the pocket, its says "busy" and it never finishes, finally after a few minutes the page reloads as blank and the computer tells me the page was using an excess of processes and shut down

    help please

Post the Workspace Export (obc file) so we can check what you had set up :)

Checked the file, you loaded a file called ash.svg, but then nothing more, there were no Toolpaths added/created: You need to set up the job

    upload_2020-12-8_21-45-34.png

    Note, no toolpaths created.

I also see a weird intersection in the file that you may want to clean up in Illustrator or Inkscape first:

Not sure what it should be but here you go:

    upload_2020-12-8_21-44-10.png

Note the 3 nice toolpaths on the right - your workspace had none. You have to create those

    I assumed a 1/4" bit:
I put a pocket for the inside to make a dish for the ash, 10mm deep
I added two inside cuts for the slots where I assume the cigarettes can lay down in
and finally an Outline to cut the shape out of the stock, I made that 19mm deep, for our typical 18.5mm plywood available here for example

Attached the OBC file, you can open it from File, Open Workspace (JSON,OBC)
Then edit to your specifics by using the Edit buttons next to the toolpaths
