metal wheels not being stainless

    Have a question about the wheels and bearings. We have a project we built that involves water, issue is the wheels have rusted and the bearings are getting stiff. Any idea, we originally where using the black wheels but the weight caused flat spots on them. Any feedback would be great.

    Sorry but you'll need to search for ceramic, stainless, or chrome bearings. The Openbuilds bearings were not designed for immersion. As for the wheel itself have you considered Xtreme Solid V Wheel Kit. These were designed specifically to resist flat spots.
