I’m interested in adding pillow block linear rails to a 1000 c beam actuator.

I plan to place them on the outer edges of the 80mm side of the beam on each y axis.
Then connect the x gantry via a plate that is also connected with the plate connected to the lead screw.

    Anyone done this? Any tips!

The Granit was one I can think of, very stout.
Maybe not exactly what you are describing though.
    cheers

Wow. That’s built like a tank. I am planning something a little more modest, with just one linear rail per side and hopefully using standard sized parts from open builds.
