I ran into a problem on a recent cut using Control where the cut -re-welded itself back together for some reason toward the end of cut. Is there a way to re-run a section or two of the g-code using Control?

I dont want to waste the material if possible.

Not easily, at least not in a way that doesn't risk more damage.

But that should just be dross, shouldn't be very tough. Might even knock loose with a couple soft hammer blows, or since its straight cuts, quick cleanup with an angle grinder

Any ideas of what would cause that kind of problem? Those two areas were near the end of a 6minute cut. The air pressure was steady the whole time, the head was moving as expected the whole time

My initial guess would have been air pressure. Could maybe have been interverter duty cycle (was current turned up high?)

(Though more about hand cutting, super valuable info to help understand the relationships):

If you have not moved your XY zero point, you could go into the CAM and just remove the cuts that worked. I do this if for some reason I do not cut all the way through a part. I will lower the Z zero a little bit an re-CAM the drawing with tool paths for just that part.
