600w Sunwin DC Spindle let the magic smoke out after a few minutes of test running. It wasn't as smooth running as the others Ive used I figure the brushes might need to wear in. Guess I was wrong. After about 5 min the body got warm then warmer, the really warm then arcs and sparks lol

I've had success with this setup before kinda thinking I don't wanna dump another $150 on another DC spindle though

That's terrible news, Barry. Any possibility to get a warranty claim for it or are you going to pull it to bits to find out what caused the magic smoke?
