Aren't you connected over USB cable? (Not sure why you mentioned Wifi)

Anything changed recently? Worked on wiring? Anything at all that might have happened or changed or been done?

I guess I made the wrong assumption about Control. Yes on one computer I am connected via usb to the x32 but on my other I am not connected to a bb. I just assumed that Control would work stand alone since there are some good features like changing Gcode and seeing the simulation. since i have an x4 i might connected it up.

You can't fully use it without it being connected. At least mot that I have found. I have a cheap arduino nano I keep next to my computer with gbl on it incase I need to access all features of control.
