Sorry for the odd topic header. I find myself not getting round circles with my setup. Every thing seems smooth and such and no noticeable backlash. All new with only a few test runs. This is with the blackbox and control software. Workbee 1010 and bosch router. I tried a couple of times using the calibration wizard to set x,and Y. The wizard using a max of 100mm for a distance to tune with. I was wondering if there was a way to find the error rate at a larger travel distance, say 900mm and enter that? Do you think that might help any? Where would I enter the calibration number if this is possible? Thank you for your time and have a great week! Doug
Though non-round circles are almost never calibration (after doing it once) but almost always mechanical (loose coupler/pulley/stop collars, loose wheels, belt tension wrong, something else loose or wiggling that shouldnt)
Thanks for the help. I found out why I wasn't getting round holes. I had a couple of loose bolts on the side gantry plates. However, after tightening them up I now have binding at both ends of the axis's. Still not sure its actually binding or the motors are not getting enough juice.
