I have replaced my tinyg with the blackbox32. I have it set up as a custom and it seems to be working. It will home. All of the switches are working. It will jog in all of the right directions. I have not set up the vfd yet. I am still running it manually. Can you recommend any additional parameters to be set up for the R7? Is there a similar machine I can copy from?
Sounds like you have most of it. Can maybe just spend some time tuning Acceleration and Max Rate (as described in the grbl wiki under Grbl v1.1 Configuration and Grbl v1.1 Configuration) Then try the Hello World! docs:blackbox-4x:hello-world [OpenBuilds Documentation]
