auto tool changer

    how about makeing an auto tool changer for these machines ,,that would be awsome to have .

    Indeed. And make it easy to implement, and affordable, too. That would make it even more awesomer! And an affordable spindle designed to work with it...a half-incher!

    Ya. Waaaaay too much. There is a lot that goes into an ATC.

    Oh well. Too bad for now.

    Someone will figure out a simpler, cheaper way eventually.

    Just like Open Builds has done with the machine itself. Capability of the LEAD series at current prices...was unheard of just a few short years ago. It’s interesting to watch.

    Before, the limitations were computer/electronic, not hardware. With an ATC, the limitation is hardware. It will get easier for sure, but cheaper, not by much. Having to physically form steel will never change.
