Do you zero the x,y,z after the probe? I positioned the bit over the probe and zeroed x,y,z. After the probe z is at o.512. I am good to go or do I need to zero again?

No need to zero before or after the probe. The purpose of the probe is to set the work zeros for you.

Thanks Shawn. Knew the probe let the machine know where to start on the project but didn't know it also did the zero. Love this forum. Always get a answer in a short time.
