Thanks so much! I use acrylic solvent that seeps into the joint and solvent welds the two pieces of acrylic together pretty much making them one piece. The stuff I use is called Weld-on
Thanks for the info Jacob That's are really nice way to sandwich acrylic together quickly and has me thinking of other cool ideas where stacked acrylic could be used for a project. Thanks again for the share
Great project! I am curious, does weld-on solvent weld PLA as well? I currently use Tap Plastics Acrylic Cement for both PLA and Acrylic, but Weld-on looks like it may set faster and I am always in the mood to try something newer and better.
To glue acrylic to acrylic I use pure acetone. You can pick it up in almost all stares that sell to hair and nail boutiques. Clamp the parts together and with a syringe, run a little acetone along the joint. It will seep in and welds very well.
