Hi everyone, I’m in the process of building a CNC machine and am considering using the BlackBox Motion Control System X32 along with JMC Closed Loop Stepper Motors with integrated drivers. Before I proceed, I wanted to reach out to the community to see if anyone has experience with this specific setup. Questions: Are the BlackBox X32 and JMC Closed Loop Stepper Motors compatible in terms of signal requirements and overall functionality? Have you faced any challenges or issues using these components together? Are there any tips or recommendations for configuring and wiring them correctly? Any insights, experiences, or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
There is really no reason to get a BB for this use, you won't use the built in BB drivers. All you need is a simple Arduino Uno with pulse and direction signal. There is also the ESP32 option. Cheers Gary
