just downloaded OpenBuilds Control to my laptop and can't get it to run. With the OpenBuilds screen opened and i go to jog the laser the laser mark on the screen moves when jogged but the laser does not. Under trouble shooting it shows the xyz are all triggered. How do I fix this problem? My goal is to run OpenBuilds using my Ortur LM3.

CONTROL just shows what your controller reports (or fails to report)
Being designed for use with our controllers, the advice would have been either reporting mask incorrect, or limits invert incorrect. Being a 3rd party controller, no idea why its reporting that

You can try $10=511 to see if that helps with reporting
Machine not moving likely $4 being incorrect etc

Did you flash our firmware (meant for BlackBox?) onto it by any chance? (Bad thing, won't have same pinmap)

No I didn't. Just went your website ad downloaded the Control software. $4 shows 0, $10=511 just shows 511

Well that's the settings the BlackBox needs, so best defer specifics to your board/machine vendor. $10=511 is needed for CONTROL, but others like Endstop inversions, Invert Enable etc are board specific

Ok. Thanks again. I'll contact Orthur and see what they say.

I just looked at the Ortur website and nowhere do they say what controller it is using. I did see some very custom things like flame sensors mentioned, and stock GRBL won't do that.
Then I saw mention of the Ortur v1.8 firmware being made for ESP32 controllers, so I am guessing they are running some fork of GRBL-esp32 or grblHAL.

If it is grblHAL based then CONTROL will probably work ok once you have the settings correct as Peter has already helped you with.

What does the $I command report in the serial console?

Maybe if you post a settings backup (from the 'GRBL settings' tab) we can figure out waht you need.

I found out all I had to do was in LightBurn was insert $RST=* into GRBL settings and everything started working again. Want to thank everyone who helped me on this.
