Hi has anyone used linux for the blackbox software I have it running on windows no problem but I wanted to put in on a desktop in my workshop that linux on it and I can not get it to install I can download it but is says file not supported any ideas thanks joe

hmmm, I am just about to install on Ubuntu 20 on my RPi4, I have used the .deb in the past... has something changed?
Oh wait, Pi=arm, none of the provided x86 images will run on the Pi, you should checkout OpenBuilds/OpenBuilds-CONTROL keeping in mind the script is for Rasbian, maybe don't use the script, but it will guide you to whats needed
Allow your user access to the serial port by adding it to the dialout and tty groups. Code: sudo usermod -a -G dialout <user> sudo usermod -a -G tty <user> Replace <user> with your username
