I am new to open builds and have built a x, y table using the black box set to arcos 55 for a multi head tapping system. I am tapping 3 parts at one time, each part haves 3 holes. I would like to program it to stop after each hole and wait for input, I.E.. any key. Can the software do this

grbl accepts M0 mandatory stops, which pause the program until cycle start or resume is pushed again.

there is a key that is bound to 'run' (I have forgotten which one), you can press that. having 'any' key as 'run job' will never work, much too unsafe and how would you jog etc?

or you can connect a key to the run/pause pin on the controller, my early Blackbox does not have it available but maybe the new version does?

Cycle/Start and Feed/Hold inputs - you can wire each of those to buttons to get start and stop right at the machine.
