Yet Another LEAD CNC Build

    I ordered the aluminum mounts from banggood.com - shipping took forever but they are great mounts for the spindle (I used two mounts on mine).

    Sorry for the late reply. No issues with runout whatsoever. Can't say whether that's by luck or if it's a precision spindle. I don't cut a lot of wood. Most of what I cut has been 1/8 and 1/4 inch acrylic. I have plenty of things to be concerned about with acrylic, like melted acrylic on my cutter, but runout hasn't been an issue I've had to battle.

    Many of the things I make are "press fit" designs. For things to press fit correctly, the accuracy needs to be pretty good. I haven't had any issues.

    Thank you for that, its good to know it can hold up fairly well. I am strongly considering one.
