Hello. I have a lead 1010 and I have an intermittent problem with jogging. If I try to jog the gantry in the “+ Y” Direction, once I let go the mouse, the gantry continues to move. In order to stop the gantry, I need to press “- Y” and then it will stop. The gantry WILL CRASH if I don’t react fast enough. If anyone has any suggestions on how I can fix this, I would appreciate any help.

    • Software up to date? (CONTROL v1.0.376?)
    • Using Continuous mode (make sure you aren't in incremental)

I might need to update software.

I was using Continuous and trying to surface a board manually. I clicked on Y to jog the gantry and once I released the mouse, the gantry did not stop.

Not sure. I am at work now and I am not able to check. Can I ask what is the latest vet using a black box?

    replace the mouse NOW
I have had this exact thing with 2 different brands of wireless mouse (Microsoft and Genius), a cheap wired USB mouse solved it 100%

Agree with keeping a Microsoft mouse out of the workshop!
