So I purchased a plasma table that was about 90% complete.
It has a Blackbox 4x, I really love it so far. I've been able to work out all the kinks with moving the axis correctly. I have it working great.
I'm at the part now where I'm trying to figure out how to wire my Arcfony Cut53n Pro. The cutter has two cnc ports, one 5 pin(for signal control), and one 2 pin(for voltage)
The directions are a little confusing.
    Code:
    1) Pin 1, The cnc symbol on panel will be light up if Pin1 and Pin 2 short cicuit.
    2) Pin 2 & Pin 3, Signal for Torch Switch(it's also control pilot arc for CNC Torch)
3,) Pin 4 and Pin 5 Signal for Arc Starting. (Start Plasma cutting)

I'm confused as to what I would hook up to the blackbox relay port, should it hook up 2&3, or 4&5? I'm assuming that I would hook up 4&5 so it will start cutting, but not sure.

I don't really want to splice anything into my torch if the cutter has a built in control.

Any help would be great, and i'll upload a photo of the manual as well.

    Thanks,

    Mark

4&5 should be the Arc OK signal, not used here (for THC)
That's the Inverter, telling the CNC's THC, that the Arc has ignited

2&3 with the badly translated English sounds more like what we want

    Manual makes it more clear

    Thank you Peter!
So I tried to wire the two red wires to the relay(one to com, one to no). I get a fault on my cutter when I do that.
I wired the two red to one line and the two black to the other relay port. The torch turns on, and shuts off by command, but it won't restart after.

I don't like to have my hand held here, but I also don't want to blow up the blackbox(the cutter is from Amazon and I could send it back lol)

    Thoughts?

Take the hand torch apart, see where the wires go. The button just shorts two wires together. Same thing the relay will do

Okay, I will just wire it directly to the torch switch. I thought the built in cnc wire would have been a lot easier, but to me it's not!

    Thanks Peter...

Okay, so, I tried a bunch of different configs and I just had to use wires 2 and 3. It seems to be working fine now!
Thank you again for you help!
