Penetration point

    How does one set the penetration point deeper into a hole cut. My holes are being penetrated. too close to the cutting edge and causing the hole to have a distorted hole edge.

    Use the LEAD IN option. But note it only works if there is sufficient space, if it can't find a safe space to offset into, it will penetrate inline with the toolpath
    You rarely need more than 2x cut kerf - smaller is easier for CAM to calculate, but if its unable to, again, it will revert to inline

    Here's an example of a 100mm cutout, cut inside the line (it cutout) with a 10mm leadin - Plasma will ignite inside the edge, in the scrap, the move south by a little east and start the circular cut.
