So working on some tests. And i was looking at the black box schematic and I have a question. It shows the door open signal pulled upto 5vl2, but when i put my VM on it, its read 24v..... is that related to limit switch voltage select?
What voltage is door trigger pin pulled upto. Schem shows 5lv2, but im measuring 24v Also checked limit switches, they are at 5v not 24v
Been pretty busy running my shop, day jobs...lol Anyway I had posted an update relating to the other thread, as well as a question.... Now/here I wanted to update the door voltage issue... While I hate to admit it it, because of the mounting positon of my black box I had accidently plugged into the pump connector and was taking readings from there. Once corrected it was of course as you stated. I am redesigning my THC to black box interface to iron out a bug or 2, and as im thinking about it, do you think I can connect pin 4 (collector) on an pc817 optoisolator directly to door open input and then pin 3 (emitter) to ground? goal is to triigger from a circuit that is either 12v or 24v on one side of opto and 5v blackbox on other....thx
