Is it possible to have a vfd spindle wired into the tool head plug for 0-10v and also use the relay port to power an iot relay? I’d like to plug my vfd and industrial water chiller into the iot so I can control them to turn on with my cam software. if possible, I’m assuming the jumper needs to be moved to M8 and then a simple M8 command with a pause for however long to fire up the vfd and chiller, then M3 with another pause to let the spindle spool up?
Use the Coolant output for the pump: section 3.7.3 of docs:blackbox:connect-coolant [OpenBuilds Documentation] shows how to use an IoT for that
Thank you, that’s exactly what I’ll do. should have looked at the connections a bit more to see that the coolant port offered a 24v signal. I’m assuming I should remove the jumper that’s installed for the relay port?
