    Hey all!

So I came back to my 1015 CNC router with 2.2kW water cooled spindle thinking after a week or so I’d start turning out some signs….

Fired everything up… spindle was spinning about 284 rpm after everything booted up. Couldn’t stop it. Decided to check max speed (24000), only got 11400. Output signal max was 4.5vdc

    Any ideas?

The Captcha Verification is not working when I try to submit the ticket.

    Here is my message:

Hello. I’m having an issue with my BlackBox Controller. When I fire up the system (controller, VFD, OpenBuilds Control) my spindle spins without command at about 258 rpm. When I send the M3 S24000, it spins at 11400 rpm. When I check the 0-10V at the output of the BB, I get 4.5V with the potentiometer maxed. At the PWM output I get 1.7V. 24VDC supply is fine and all steppers work fine. All voltage tests were done with nothing connected to the BB but power and computer. I’m guessing it’s a cooked transistor/voltage regulator.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you,
    Todd R Soutiere

Disable any script/popup blockers that could be interefering with the working of the site, or try a different browser

Please contact the store team, the forum team is not the same people and cannot assist. openbuilds.com = the community side of things vs openbuildspartstore.com = the business side - handles the shipping / warranty / orders / payments etc - you need to speak to the store, so they can check if you have a valid warranty etc
