I just pulled the switch yesterday and spent some money. I think I did good with what i bought and I sure hope i did. I bought Newest Workbee CNC Router Machine Kit with Tingle Tension System 4 Axis Engraver Milling Machine with Nema 23 2.45Nm Stepping motors from [a popular chinese ripoff company] 3d.I found out never buy buy from the [a popular chinese ripoff company]3d website direct. Go through aliexpress saved me 300.00 in shipping cost. Then I found Openbuilds and bought a Blackbox kit minus the Nema 23's. Also locally at Fleet Farm I found a Dewalt DWP611 open box for 78.00. I bought everything for about 1600.00 I do have a question for some with a 1500mmx1500mm table. Where and how can i make a spoil board to fit this monster. No where around me can i buy anything 5'x5' MDF or Plywood.
I plan to use this as a hobby single I am disabled.
I look forward to chatting with you all someday..

the spoil board does not have to be one piece (-:
4 pieces will be fine, you are going to cut it flat anyway, and replacing 1/4 of the area is much easier and cheaper in the future too.
on my machine the spoil board actually holds the frame square, if yours will do this then I suggest use the right rear portion for holding square then fit the others since they will get used more.

so if we look at a machine like this (your link requires a login at aliexpress so I c\ant see what you actually got)

instead of putting a single piece of MDF (1.5x1.5m is cumbersome!) in we can split it into 3 as above or as I was thinking, into 4 quarters, ie if it was a piece of paper, fold it in the middle, and then again and cut on the fold lines.

Thank you so very much for that. I really appreciate your time. I guess I will learn by trial and error. Hopefully not so much error. I have been studying the software somewhat. and bought some a resurfacing bit and a few straight single flutes. I will be using this on acrylic and some wood. Question again. Can I use Google Sketchup on my machine? I somewhat know how to design in that. I never heard of SketchUcam.

I recommend Sketchup 2016 on older machines, 2017 on newer ones. You will have to google for something like 'download sketchup make 2016' in order to find the older download.

SketchUcam is a plugin for Sketchup that generates Gcode from flat drawings. conceived by our own Mark Carew (-:

I have a new release almost ready, but 1.4d will work fine.
