Chris Laid plates with nema 23 steppers from eBay. Be sure to use longer bolts for the wheels in this step. Wheel kit bolts are 5mm short.
Z axis i got m5 x 70mm bolts at ace hardware.
My $15 Bousch trim router. A cabinet shop was going out of business. I got the router and a bunch of mahogany.
I got m3 x 50mm bolts at ace Hardware. I use some nuts as a spacer. I did not want to cut the bolts and jack up the threads.
Bandsaw makes v slot cutting easy.
Waiting on acme lead screw block and 20 x 60 v slot. Laid plates use only 60 v slot and not 40 like on parts list for the short z axis piece.

This is my first cnc router. I like the open builds concept. I bought parts when I had the money. It seems everytime i think i have all the parts, i find something I am missing. My controller won't be ready until the end of the month so I am in no hurry. I will add things that i find. Eager to make some saw dust.
